Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo on the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was made at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, producer, playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories were of going to play rehearsals and watching her mother perform. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. In 1997, she earned a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and advance, then she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met during an Actorsworkshop held located in Los Angeles. The couple was engaged in 2009, and then married in a civil ceremony that was held in December. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on 13 May in 2016. Silk's television work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she landed the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the third season finale episode. The news was announced to the fans in an episode of the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk, who has been doing work on the show since the final season episode premiered on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV in 2013. Entertainment Television.
